Do you recommend non-competes?
According to Mike: How big can I say, “YES!”? Strong non-competes are encouraged for staff, but you may have trouble enforcing them with agents that are, essentially, independent contractors. You cannot remove their ability to earn a living in their trade, but you can protect your client list and office “know how.”
